I’ve been very lucky.
I’ve had the opportunity to sit across from, speak with, and work alongside some of the most fascinating people in the world. I’ve also been entrusted with bringing their inspiring, complex, often heartbreaking, and deeply personal stories to the page. Ghostwriting is a tremendous privilege and a huge responsibility. A person’s life—their most meaningful memories, their struggles, their accomplishments, their ideas—is literally in your hands. It’s a responsibility I take seriously and it’s work I’m grateful to be able to do.
My ghostwriting résumé spans politics, entertainment, business, science, and health, but I don’t really think in categories. I believe all great books, regardless of genre, rest on two things: story and voice. That's why, every day and on every page, I'm asking the same two questions:
Are we telling the story—that is, the right story?
And is the voice authentic—is it real, honest, true, and human?
When the answer to both questions is yes, I know we’re on the right track!
